Dental Implants
Dental Implants provide a long-lasting solution for clients seeking to replace lost teeth.
A dental implant procedure is carried out by one of our dentists at the clinic and involves a surgical procedure, whereby an artificial implant is screwed into the bone beneath the gums. The implant subsequently fuses with the bone and provides an anchor of support for crowns to be attached. The crown then forms the visible part of the new ‘tooth’, whilst the implant forms the root.
Typically, the implant is made from titanium and provides a highly durable, long-lasting anchor for replacement crowns to be attached long into the future. Both the implant and the crown are designed to appear as natural looking teeth, allowing them to blend seamlessly with the rest of your natural teeth.
This process involves a series of consultations and can take anywhere between 3-4 months to fully complete.
Despite the invasive nature of the surgery, dental implants provide a highly comfortable, permanent and functional solution to missing teeth.
